Hectic weekend ahead

Elsa plus family are on their way already, and I am quickly typing my daily entry. Next year I will have to stop this, hubby is always on the edge when I switch on my PC for what he calls nonsense. Says the one who is on FB daily while I give this medium a wide berth! All I have to do now is close the window in the guestroom, for it´s cold outside already. Temperatures go up to 12 during day, but the moment the sun is behind the range of hills you better close the windows...
I did not get more Halloween decoration. It is as if Halloween only exists in the food sector. No tiny swinging singing ghosts, no singing pumpkins my children had loved so much. Well, you have to take what you can get! At least I have one tiny spider web to decorate with, and an old skeleton that did survive in the cellar! Now down to the living room it is, to write down what hubby has to shop for tomorrow!

Voyaging with dummies

Son number three was on the phone just now, his wife and daughter in the background laughing maniacally. What I thought was a Halloween prank call turned out a more serious one. "Mum, do we have back-up clothing for Elsa at home?" At home is hubby and my house. No, we do not have back-up clothes for a girl. All my grandchildren are boys save for one Elsa. We have some tee-shirts, a tad too big for her, one pair of sweatpants, a sweater, that´s all. Oh, I forgot about the sweatshirt and the pink Halloween Jammy I bought for her, which now comes handy- because son has forgotten Elsa´s suitcase at their home. He only discovered the problem when they were 30 kilometres away. Would mean they´d have more than 200 kilometres back to pick up the suitcase. Well, Elsa has her tablet, her medication, no cuddy toy for the night (no problem, we´ll give her one out of aunt Lil´s miracle box, the name aunt Lil alone will do the trick, or so I hope)-and tomorrow we will do a trip to Kik, to buy some new clothing. They have Ergee, what more could one want?
