Spring is here

...at least until Saturday, where we will have a slight relapse to wintery season, but no snow, that´s what I hope. Housework was boring as always, the most dirt I had to vacuum was the one made by Cassian´s wellies. The children in kindergarten must spend a lot of time outside on the playground, espcially when the weather is fine.I do not even want to know the way hubby´s car must look inside with all that dirt grandson brings into it! After a quick lunch (soup with meatballs made from Weisswurst and Palatschinken) hubby and Cassian were off for swimming, and I finally took care of my perennials, plucking old stems and cutting them, before they went into the organic waste bin. It was very warm, I had to weed and pluck on my knees, but I loved it (for a short time). I also had a lovely chat with the neighbour living at the back of our house. Only that next time I will wear gardening gloves- I have been plucking out splinters from under my skin for more time than I care for! Then I dragged the olive trees out onto the terrace, which in hindsight was not such a good idea, because it was too sunny for a first contact with spring air. They will survive, I hope! Afterwards I retreated to the bedroom to do a bit of reading then wrote my to-do list for Easter. Hubby came back with more cowslips. This time he got them from the backside of number two´s house. He planted them next to the apple tree and promised to spare them when mowing. I´ll believe it when I see it!
Daughter will only come tomorrow, she had more lectures today. There´s a jigsaw in the conservatory I haven´t touched for two weeks at least. Haven´t even finished the border, because one piece is still missing. Finding it will be daughter´s task- only she is able to dig into 1800 puzzle pieces and find the missing one in less than five minutes!
