There´s a hole in the roof, dear husband...

Cassian was brought to us at eleven o´clock. That´s tricky, because he still is not used to do his after-lunch nap in the big bed on the first floor while grandpa and grandma are downstairs, because usually mummy is napping next to him. But all went well, and when he was awake again he pounded against the door shouting "Fertig!"! He still cannot reach the door handle, and the books that would enable him to do so have been brought out of the room. My dragons are relieved, too, they love their claws. Tomorrow at nine the young one will get brought again, and hubby could not restrain himself from asking daughter-in-law if she hopefully intended to keep the little one, because he´s pretty nice for a boy. I would not dare to ask the same! Maybe daughter-in-law should quit searching for ticks but do her illustration work instead! It´s not that we do not love our grandson, but daughter mine has three finals this week to do online, and it is hard to concentrate on tests when downstairs grandpa and grandson are loudly doing children´s disco!
I managed to find some motives for the embroydery, unfortunately all without instruction. But I was able to print out enlarged pictures so that it will be easy-peasy to make my own- that´s if I find that darn embroydery thread to be able to put the symbol for the different colours into the squares.
It has been raining very hard today, so hard that hubby went outside to have a look at our roof. And what did he find? There´s a hole at one side, where the wind must have loosened some roofing tiles and the isolation below some time ago. The wood underneath is rotten and will have to be replaced. And now we wait for our roofer to show up. That might be a long wait from personal experience!
