I got to see a few scetches of d-i-l´s illustrations yesterday. What shall I say? Not my thing, I have to admit. But then, Romanians stick to tradition, so the children won't be put off by the style of painting. That girl clearly has spent too much time staring at eikons.
Grandson number three has updated his aunt to his most favourite person. Hubby is devastated. He is no more allowed to share the grapes or play with the cars. All this is aunties job now. Auntie is not amused either. Now it is her who has to do all those little tasks that come with a toddler. One of it is reading books to her nephew, naturally after having washed the little one´s always sticky hands. Thanks tocuriouswombat I got reminded of the Grufallo. Daughter mine has loved the book when a child. Unfortunately we brought it to a flea market, so I had to buy a new one for Cassian and Elsa- Xaver does not like books, he prefers his tablet PC :((. Book arrived this morning, and Cassian immediately fell in love with it. In revenge for having to spend half of the day with her clingy nephew daughter put him into one of her old belly dance dresses and took a video, when he danced to Kleiner Hai- not the same song as Baby Shark, Baby Shark is way tamer. Cassian loves the passage when the swimming girl begins to scream, because then he can scream, too!
Weather is awful. It is too warm and too damp, and sitting in the sun is nay impossible. Well, hubby does, but he is used to do so, regardless of heat or rain. In the evening there should be more thunderstorms. D-i-l won´t be delighted. Her young son may be in love with dragons and the Gruffalo, but he is very afraid of thunder...
