Nightmares
Every so often I have one of them, but do not remember in the morning. This night I had two, and I woke after each one and did remember! Not good for a decent sleep, but what am I to do? In the first one I was in a plane over Vienna, which was way too low over the town, almost coming in contact with the church steeples. Peoples shouting, me panicking- do I have to tell more? That dream must have come from the fact that daughter will have one hell of a day at the airport today- she already complained yesterday and thought about calling in sick. Don´t get me wrong- she is sick, but then she should have told her colleagues earlier than at four in the morning! I told her to take the strong headache pills and grit her teeth instead... In the second bad dream Namo cat was back, playing around with his sister Vaire. Vaire looked okay, blind but okay, but Namo was a skeleton dressed in black fur. That dream gave me the creeps! I was no more able to sleep afterwards and started a new book on kindle. Am halfway through already!
Hubby told me during an early breakfast that number one and his offspring would show up today. What he did not tell me was that they´d come in the morning. I barely made it out of the shower, when Oscar and Xaver already played havoc with hubby´s plan of hiding the Playmobil. I think my husband will have a lot of repair work to do on the police station. First Elsa, now those two- I now know that Cassian is the youngest of the group, but far more careful than his older cousins! Son and grandchildren left, after we had had lunch with their father. Not that the two would ever touch Mexican chicken soup, they already had managed to persuade their father that they needed burgers from the fast food chain I´d never set my foot into! The days I ate this muck are long gone! Buuuut- I will have pizza tomorrow evening. Not a selfmade one, but a typical American pizza with stuffed crust- oh yes, it´s Super Bowl time again! Now pizza is not exactly healthy, but a must when watching! I will have to do a check list, where I can l write down how often I will drop off during the game. The older I get, the harder it´s for me to stay awake! Maybe I should bring the TV into the bedroom and watch the game instead of reading books! I´d love to watch Rugby Six Nations, too, alas, no BBC One, no ITV 1! Where are the good old times, when we were able to watch those games for free!
