In September, our dog, nine years old, had to be put down because of cancer. The drugs had cost a lot of money, but if you love a pet, you won´t withhold the best possible treatment.Last month one of my cats died. She had been sick for a long time and we spent a lot of money on veterinary bills, money that we would be able to save now, for holidays, car repairs...not a bit of it! Today I went to our vet with cat number two, because I found a lump on her belly, and guess what she suffers from? Most likely cancer! Our vet will examine her again on Thursday and then we´ll have to decide about further treatment. At this rate all of our cats will be gone before they reach the exceptional age of eight years! Totally not funny!
