Woes

I have been ironing the table linen during the worst heat in the afternoon, and I am done. It has been 27 degrees today, not exactly an autumnal temperature, and I could no more see the table cloths because of all that sweat running into my eyes. Had to use those special eyedrops my doctor prescribed for hot summer days. Finally I can put those to use! And if I am able to finish the dino jags and sew them to the cap tomorrow I will pack up the ironing tools and hide them from my eyes as long as possible. I hate ironing...
Namo is still sneezing more than he usually does, but he has been on the brink of death for quite a time now. What worries me more is that Tuxedo cat seems to be very unwell all of a sudden, and I do not think it´s the hot weather that makes him so wobbly on his legs. Last night there was a lot of cat ruckus going on in the garden, and our Methuselah always fights on the front line! Walking with a limp, no appetite- this is not the Tux we know! But then again, he is 22 since spring!

Ironing is evil! When I was a novice, I worked in the sewing room for several months; 90% of the work was ironing! Grrrr!
