Hubby´s schedule
...is a wonky one. He tells me when, where and what he intends to do, and I orientate myself to it. Mostly. Today I did an early Lego rinsing after breakfast, spreading the bricks on the kitchen island as I had done yesterday. Hubby had intended to have soup for lunch and go to McDonalds with the boys after school. Now all of a sudden he wanted to do chicken Schnitzel. At one in tzhe afternoon, I had asked him for the exact time he´d start the endeavour. I do not dislike Schnitzel but I can live without those, but okay. The boys love them, one of the few things they will eat. Since hubby was off on his bike to grocery stores I did housework, took five!!! plants to the organic bin which were still alive but suffering from mealy bugs, had a phone call with my friend who cannot come for a visit now that she has additional grandchildren duty then decided to dress for a tour to DM market. Originally I had planned to do a trip to my favourite shopping centre beyound the border, but since hubby has to stay with Oscar and Xaver my car had to be brought to the repair shop at three- the boys finish school at four in the afternoon, and I had to drive back to our house with hubby, unless I was inclined to go by bus. Which I wasn´t. So I was quite flabbergasted when I found the Lego on the trolley now, bits and pieces strewn over the kitchen floor and the ingredients for Schnitzel spread out on the kitchen island. Please note that I was back from DM before twelve o´clock, but hubby could not wait any longer, as usual. I picked the Lego bricks up and went off to avoid confrontation. I had a tiny Schnitzel for lunch then went upstairs to order from Amazon. Came back down at two, intending to do another round of brick cleaning, but hubby was on pins and needles- we had to leave one hour earlier for the repair shop, because hubby thought this would be best. For him, maybe! We did a stop at Hofer for toilet paper (hubby must have forgotten that I wanted this one from another shop, mostly because it´s cheap and has such a nice, suggestive name
). Back home hubby sat down comfortably for another cup of coffee, eying the things he intended to take with him like a hawk- he had placed everything on the kitchen island, the only place where I can spread Lego for drying. I was very glad when husband finally left. I think that despite his declaration to stay he might be back in the late evening, to spook me by entering our bedroom. Contrary to hubby I never hear the things going on in the bedroom. Husband mine will wakes if I wiggle my big toe, but he is deaf to any other sounds. It´s a bit different with me- I am easily woken and subsequently alarmed by strange noises from outside! But it got even better- at five thirty hubby wrote that grandson number six was here. No pictures yet. At least DiL did not manage to birth in the bathroom this time! Now I have to be quick, or hubby will spoil the short time that´s left for me to watch (parts of) a movie on Amazon Prime!
