Short message
After getting up early- Elsa and Matthäus were a tad too loud- I left the house with DiL 3 and Elsa for a shopping trip. What should have been quality sandals turned into a mixture of bathing shoes, shorts, sun glasses plus specs cases and other odds and ends for both grandchildren from family number three. And hubby had made sure that I was to pay for it. We returned just in time for me to cook lunch. DiL 2 called and asked husband mine to pick Cassian up from kindergarten. She was still at the doctor, because Flavius had gotten sick. Hubby thought that two grandchildren in the house were not enough and brought Csssian to our house- for lunch, for playing with his cousins. The more children the louder Elsa gets. I was not even able to flee the scene, because the three followed me wherever I went. I ended up in a heap of Schleich animals, after a hefty encounter with a squadron of Barbies. And I had to read a shortened version of The Devil with the Three Golden Hairs. Another tale about royal marriage...
Meanwhile DiL relaxed on the terrace, drove off to the apothecary, relaxed again. Had an early dinner. Had long chats with her husband, who had decided to stay at home and enjoy two silent nights without offspring. Good thing is that the family will leave tomorrow. Bad thing is that Cassian wanted to stay overnight. Now there's the problem with the guest beds. DiL wanted Elsa to sleep in the studio, in the bed Cassian thinks his own, while she took over the guest room with Matthäus. We decided on storing Elsa and Cassian in number four's room, leaving the doors wide open in case one of the two had to do a walk to the loo in unknown territory. Or get up early, which is four thirty for Elsa...
