Full house

...this evening, which could be a bit stressing, because number four and five at home can be exhilarating- or not. Depends on how the two of them will behave. There were times when I thought they´d be born with a battle axe they used all time when seeing each other. They are two years apart- never would do this again. The older boys were always three and a half year apart, which worked well. Two years not so much. Besides, it´s Eurovision Song Contest day- daughter loves it, I love it, too, if only for the hilarious comments that come from her vile mouth. Son prefers Death-Rock music but will have to sit and watch, too, as will hubby. I am in for a very entertaining evening!
I got up early- got woken by the alarm clock husband mine has ordered for Cassian, one that shall show him when he is allowed to get up. Hubby has set it for six thirty, and I only put it back into the box without deactivating it. That thing is really loud!
Son came down earlier than expected and helped with household chores. Wish he´d do the same in his flat in Graz! We prepared Hasselback potatoes cooked in cheesy cream. Hubby, who had done Saturday shopping, did the chicken fillets. It´s strange for me to eat before two in the afternoon, but younger people seem to be hungry early...
After lunch I started a first clothes sighting for our trip to London. Weather seems to switch just in time- warmth will be back to Middle Europe, while cooler temperatures will wander to GB. I so love the timing! I think a new trendy cardigan is in order! No pocket umbrella, I want to buy one at MinaLima, even it costs five time as much as an ordinary one. My cough is getting less prominent, so I won´t have to skip tomorrow´s concert. Hubby is quite relieved, otherwise it would have been his job to accompany daughter to the Festspielhaus!
The last days have been cool and wet- easily recognisable by the slugs passing over our terrace windows. All geranium I have planted got severely damaged by those slimy beasts, will have to buy new ones! Why they tell us that slugs will spare geranium will be a puzzle to me forever! Our garden is a mess this year- no flowers, hence no colours, still no vegetables (too cool for most), but blackflies everywhere. And today I found weaves of the codling moths in the apple tree. Definitely not a good year for gardening! I decided to cut the weaves out and burned them in the wood stove. The vegetables will get bought by husband mine, when I am away. I am pretty sure that I will find some peculiar sorts when back!
Now it´s up to the PC, to transfer the huge amount of pictures on my mobile to my external hard disc drive. Daughter told me that lots of mobiles get lost to thieves in London. Good that son is here- he is an expert in saving pictures...
