Hubby slept in the guestroom together with poor, sick Flavius- he wanted me to have one night of uninterrupted sleep. Only that I went to bed at midnight, because I did not feel sleepy at all. In bed I did read a bit, all the while listening to the next downpour. Last evening it had been raining so hard that the water had made it to the terrace door, even though there's a lot of glass which should prevent this. We had to evacuate the children's kitchen, which was already under water. Water also made it around the dormer's window and left a puddle on the art noveau desk. The rest of the night went well, Cassian did not even notice the sun alarm, came to my bed at seven, picked up my tablet and watched hamster maze. What is it with those hamster videos that pop up again- I thought we'd be over that sh..! At least hamster won't talk, so no annoying sounds but funny music!
We have cooked soup for lunch, the only thing Flavius will have at the moment. I read the comments to the boys' paediatrician and realised that hubby was in for a long wait, in case he cot a medical appointment. He got one- good for the older boy and me, because then we were able to watch a movie. The boys' mum thinks that Cassian is only allowed to watch what Flavius can watch, too. Good that they are only two and a half years apart, or the older would be forced to watch Bob the Builder until he's out of Volksschule at the age of ten.
Hubby does pre-school training with Cassian each morning now. Highly necessary I'd say. That boy has the attention span of a fruitfly. I see hard times ahead for mummy. Even though I fear that the usual will happen- she will turn her uninterested and unwilling son to us to get his homework done...
