Sleeping habits
Today I woke at five in the morning- next to the duvet, freezing cold all over and, what´s worst, my arm in a jumble that made me wonder if I´d fall apart when stretching it out into a more natural position. No wonder that my shoulder hurts this often, apparently that´s my favourite sleeping position! Hubby was immediately searching for a body pillow on Amazon, so that I won´t turn into a breathing pretzel anymore. On Amazon, as if they don´t sell it in shops nearby! Well, not that near, but better than have a deliverer bring it to our house! Not that I turn out like DiL1, who ordered ten breastfeeding pillows, because she could not decide upon a colour! Of course, nine pillows got sent back, but the poor deliverer- the family lived in a flat on the third floor then, with no lift!
In the morning I opted for light housework, more decluttering then a late shower. Hubby had a phone call with our former insurance agent. Demanded a list of the damage causes we had had- exactly three of those in more than thirty years, reason enough for the contract to get cancelled? I don´t think so! At least the lady will send us the list for the hopefully next contract with another insurance.
Son number four will come for a visit tomorrow. Pretty sure he is trying to circumvent the hassle at Halloween, when family members will cause endless coming and going. Besides, the bed in his room will be occupied by grandchildren- our house is not so big, so one guestroom only, and that´s where family number three sand one Elsa will live for some days!
No clothes shopping got done today, but will have to be done soonest- hubby had turned the washing machine on and managed to accidentally put one of the meat hooks he needs for making bacon into the drum. You do not even want to know what this does to underwear- two of my beloved bras got killed in the process! Well, hard luck, I´d say!
No new message from the shop I did an online order. I am suppsed to pick things up tomorrow morning- this was the only message I got immediately after ordering. Not sure if I shall go there or not- a twenty minute drive only, but what if aricles haven´t arrived yet? It´s the first time I have ordered from this shop, others have at least sent a confirmation mail the moment my order arrived. I think I will wait until late afternoon to go there!
Hubby is off again this evening, so more Amazon Prime Video viewing for me. I was not exactly thrilled by the selection of movies they have at the moment, but it will have to do...
