Uh-oh!

I did a fairly bit of knitting this morning- of course, only after having finished housework. Hubby was of no help, he drove off after breakfast, most likely browsing through special offers in grocery shops, to put my cooking plans upside down- he loves to do that! Both sleeves of Elsa's cardigan were mostly finished, I only had the top shaping left- that's what I thought then. When hubby finally returned, we did a tour to HAI, a shop similar to Goodwill, only with former jailbirds as staff, until they'd find a job well paid. I did not find a fitting flower rack for the conservatory, so I will have to go to Dehner for one. Back home I refused to have yesterday's soup for lunch (so much about hubby being the one turning meal plans upside down), so I fried Käsekrainer. We will have the soup tomorrow...
I noticed that it got dark and darker during lunchtime, so I tidied the terrace, cut some hydrangea flowers and filled some marble gravel into jars for decoration. I just made it back into the house before rain and storm set in. Made myself comfortable on the bed and ignored the sounds of things flying. Not ours, ours were safely stored. I wonder what I will find in our garden tomorrow! After coffee I picked up the cardigan to continue- and from then on all went down the drain. All I have left now is sleeves, the rest got unravelled. Not a chance that re-knitting will be finished when Elsa returns to St. Pölten. I am so mad at myself at the moment- I never had a thorough look at what I had knitted last year, but that blasted thing had been wide enough to serve as a cardigan for my voluminous self. Luckily hubby was not at home when I threw tantrum after tantrum- he'd have learned quite a lot of new swear words, but he's resumed his job as a janitor at sis's flat...
