Too sleepy...

...to do much. I tried, I really tried and got up at seven thirty to have breakfast together with hubby. But I did not get much sleep after returning from early-morning drive- there are nights when hubby does snore quite spectaculously. This night has been such a night. I was twiddling thumbs for a while then gave up and turned my e-book reader on.
Needless to say that I was dead on my feet at ten in the morning, even though I had had four cups of coffee then. Since most of the housework was already done I had a short nap- needed to be ready for the boys, who got picked up by hubby at two in the afternoon. Fortunately hubby found more dumplings in the freezer (selfmade, of course, this time filled with crackling). The boys were extremely well-behaved, played with the huge Hot Wheels parking garage (which unfortunately also has a button for a siren, a bell and the sound of a police car). But then there was a documentation about Indonesia and the country's strange rituals, and then there's mummies. Hot Wheels did not stand a chance! Poor mummy, who picked her boys up at six- now she will have a lot of answering to do about mummies, who get digged up and redressed for family celebrations. The boys were delighted by watching the spectacle while having dinner, I was more Oh God, gross...
Number four won't come tomorrow, but deer ragout will stay on the menue- hubby invited number two and wife for lunch on Sunday. The boys will be here anyway, their father will bring them tomorrow morning. Another hectic weekend is looming...
Poor me, today was the neighbours' first birthday celebration, tomorrow the next (both without me), Sunday the last (the same). I am so very miseable to not being able to attend (ha bloody ha), but I am still on antibiotics, my face is still swollen and and...
Hubby will substitute and hand the presents over! Yay!
