Strange!

The moment the boys are to come hubby mutates into a father hen with the need of providing all-round service for grandchildren and their parents. Parents who put their children in our care so that they will have fun. And who shall not have to cook to be able to recover from having fun. Today I refused. Not because of the cooking alone, but because hubby talked about chicken thighs and chicken wings I was not to do Korean or Chinese style. I told him that if he wanted chicken mutti style he'd have to go to the chicken grill. I won't do this bland cooking anymore. Hubby was not amused and hopefully will bring the boys home to their parents for lunch. But only after they've had the strawberries with yogurt. Cassian told me that mummy had said they are allowed to eat seasonal, local fruits only, but strawberries in winter do not fall into this category. I told him that the grapes in their kitchen weren't seasonal either, and bananas and oranges didn't even grow in our country, seasonal or not. I fear I'm in a bad mood today, even though the boys and I got along extremely well...
