Summertime´s here!

Hubby told me that Cassian was sitting in front of the house door, fervently waiting for his grandpa to show up, the young one ready for another fun day. Cassian loves to be with us. He likes the not so biological food he gets. Not that we give him tons of chocolate, but there might be cake. There might be sausages. He loves to play with the cars his uncles forgot to destroy (they liked to play car crash by smashing their toys with stones they had found in the garden). He loves to climb upstairs and play with the dragons in the sleeping room (and the Final Fantasy figurines, because there´s the famous Fenrir, a motorbike, and motorbikes are super cool). And he loves the little pool hubby has put up for him. Only that we had to change the water twice today, you might already know why. And even if cassian gets tired he will never be dour.
My eyes have hurt all evening long yesterday, until I went in search of eyedrops against stressed eyes- instant release. Was in the big pool today, no problems. Did a crossword puzzle in the blinding sun. Eyes were fine. Used a dollop of sunscreen, not even on my face- back to burning eyes. So there´s something in the formula I am allergic to. Hubby has no problems when smearing it onto his face, but I have. Tomorrow after vaccination I will do a trip to the pharmacy, to get more of the fabulous eyedrops plus an eye salve for night, and a sunscreen for body and face. They always have test flacons, so we will find one that might not make me go blind the moment I use it on my body!

Oh, poor you! My eyes are very sensitive, too. Whenever I get a bit sweaty, the stupid sweat promptly gets into my eyes, together with the argan oil I use for my face. That's bad enough, but if I'm forced to wear some sunscreen — any sunscreen — which I have to, because my skin can't take much sunshine (= none at all), it sooner or later gets into the eyes, and then there's agony for several minutes. *sigh*

I got me a special sunscreen and drops for sensitive eyes today. Not exactly cheap, but it cannot be helped...
