Early post today...
The house is ready for our guests. Conservatory will be the new play area for the little ones. Elsa and Cassian will get allowed to unpack the new doll house. If we can keep them in the conservatory while they play we might be able to retrieve dolls and furnishing afterwards. Plus the doll house needs a garage for the cars that will get brought into play by Cassian. Even a family of dolls needs a car. I fear this one will have more than one.
Hubby is watching Olympic games. I have not yet found out when gymnastics is on the programme. I know that I missed a lot already, but since we don't have an active competitor our TV station might not be interested at all...

Assuming you find a quiet moment to watch, that is.
Will there be a picture of the doll house? Or have you already posted one and I failed to notice? I love doll houses. Fortunately, we don't have the room for one, or else I'd have one myself. As if I needed even more hobbies...
Some 20 or so years ago there was a fantastic little shop on the Landstraßer Hauptstraße in Wien that sold doll houses and everything imaginable one might have needed to furnish one. Furniture was sold in pieces, so that one could put it together as part of the pleasure. Whenever we were in Wien, we visited that shop, so that I could drool over the beautiful pieces (they were vintage-looking ones). Alas, the shop is no more — not that I could go to Wien, but it's still a shame.
