Oh no, again!

It is Sunday, and it should have been a visit-free Sunday today. I think after all that huzzle we earned some quiet! Weather is really bad, heavy rain and strong wind, 15 degrees at midday, so I opted for reading and watching TV. No cooking, there's enough goulash leftover from yesterday, when number three and family left earlier than expected- those are really good eaters, that's why I made more. Hubby had a ticket for a concert at Salzburg Festival, I had the license to do what I want, which was clearly doing nothing useful at all. At twelve hubby's mobile rang, and he was off in a hurry. Number two had to leave for a PCR test- covid has made it into the Festspiel press bureau, all had to deliver tests, to rule out who got infected and who not. And we have Cassian back, because his mum is working. This left me to take care of my grandson. No napping, no reading, no crocheting, but chasing after the young one it was, and still is. And in case the father got his dose of the virus we might have to take care of him way longer than is our want. I love this virus! Send it to me, and I'll strangle it with pleasure!

I'd help you with the virus killing if I could. Not that I would get out, even if there weren't Covid, because of Mum, but I'd like the thought that — in theory — I actually could. I don't envy you for the unexpected babysitting. Sometimes one just would like to have a bit of peace and quiet. *sigh*

Things are getting alarming here. Number two´s secretary has gotten tested positive, so son and family might have to go into quarantine. You clearly see that vaccination won´t do wonders but achieves only half of the things they had promised. All of the staff got vaccinated and had to adhere to strict rules to avoid such a situation ...
