Spring is here, hayfever,too...

Thanks to the warm weather during the last week- one cold day does not count- hazel bushes are in bloom now. My weather app tells me "no pollen", but that´s a lie, the hazel trees are planted along the neighbour´s land! I can see them from the conservatory, and they do bloom, while I do the yearly sneezing, which will last until May, when the last trees and bushes I am allergic to have finally finished their yearly purpose of reproduction. Number three and family are off again, and I have to admit that I almost forgot doing the daily lunch, because I was so done with cooking! ForTunately there was still a lot of vegetables cut for the infusion needed for the broth, and I had not had the heart to throw those into the organic waste bin. Add some eggs, a bit of soy sauce, grated cheese- and we had a huge omelette for lunch. No food wasted, so no bad conscience!
I have crocheted together all the squares I had made for the baby blanket, alas, I will have to do a lot more of them, twelve exactly. There´s plenty of time to finish the blanket before the baby is due, but there are other projects I want to do, besides, now we are at the point where the wool which was not enough then got augmented by the wool found in a bag is not enough anymore. Darn! I hope that I will be able to get more of the baby blue yarn now that we know it´ll be a boy! By the way, Elsa is not amused that she will get a sibling, and even less when it will be a baby brother! It was so much fun to listen her talk her mother out of getting a baby boy! It will be even more fun when the babe will be here!

Awww, so sorry to hear about the hay fever! *hugs* Good idea about the improvised lunch, though; we cook like that a great deal. ;)
Good luck with finding the right kind of wool, so that you can finish the baby blanket. I think you'll have a lot of hystrionics from Elsa once the baby is there, though.
