Bad timing
After having finished my morning chores I went into the garden to cut some twigs for my Easter decoration, hang up the new plastic eggs and put up the new weapons against moles, the ones which send out high-pitched beeps my husband of many years won´t hear anymore, but I unfortunately do. From now on I can listen to that sound when I lie awake during night, and the mole can laugh his head off, because that darn thing is for the birds! Back on topic, the moment I was out it started to rain cats and dogs, but I did not budge but finished my jobs, all three of them, in record time. The moment work was done the rain stopped. Bad timing number one...
For lunch I tested my new gadget. Hubby has always done fish in the oven. Today I gave the air fryer a try- and for the first time the coating was crispy, just the way it is supposed to be. I only sprayed a tiny bit of oil onto the fish with the new spray bottle, ordered by hubby yesterday afternoon, delivered this morning by Amazon, just when I had finished garden duty. After the delivery hubby went on his daily shopping tour, which was bad timing number two, because four!!! more parcels got delivered in the space of half an hour, and I was dripping wet from indoor showering after getting showered on in the garden. I opened the door and accepted the parcels nevertheless, though none of them had been ordered by me.
I had intended to do a quick drive to KiK for more Easter eggs after the daily after-lunch nap. I dressed up and headed out to my car, which wasn´t there anymore. Turned out that DiL had needed a babysitter out of the blue, and hubby came to the rescue without telling me. To be on the safe side husband took my car, because he did not know when exactly the father of the boys would return from work and he himself had to do a trip to a town 60 kilometres away afterwards, to pick a bike trailer for two children up at six in the evening- and my car is the bigger one, fit to take in the trailer. Bad timing number three, no KiK for me this afternoon, because my car was off from four on:( Maybe I will go there tomorrow, but Saturday is the day when general laziness turns into some kind of hibernation modus- but no need to worry, will soon get replaced by Saturday springtime fatigue!

Totally unrelated: I can't connect to LJ at the moment, so I'm updating my journal here. Am very pissed; do you have any problems with LJ?
