Funny entry for a change...

Hubby came home this evening, his car loudly honking away. Wow, I thought, what an improvement for someone who usually pretends to not have a car horn at all, even when the moron in front of him is about to crash into his car when driving backwards without looking. Then I saw the turn signals turn from right to left and back again incessantly, just like my uncle´s, may God rest his soul, Sicilian string of lights for the Christmas tree, which made my stomach churn and my eyeballs hurt when I followed the movements of the bulbs for too long, and with a sudden clarity I knew something was very, very wrong with hubby´s car: today´s thunderstorm and the heavy rain which had made it through the open car window (now who closes the car windows when it´s only raining, how uncool!) had left marks on the car´s electronics. Now we have a blinking tooting vehicle that begs for a visit to the car repair shop. I will not be the one who does the transfer, I´d die with shame!

Oh dear! And poor thing having to drive it home. Hopefully it will have dried out by the morning!

Unfortunately nothing has changed until morning, so car went to the repair shop. Apparently water has flooded the steering column and caused a major fallout.
