How the hell should I know? I was searching for a very special piece of fanfiction for years. Final Fantasy Vll, Cloud Strife and Sephiroth, no, not slash, but hero worship. It had vanished from WWW somewhere along the line, as often happens. I did not think about it for quite a time. And then I wanted to reread it. Not a chance, the author had made a good job of covering up her track. By accident I found her new website, friends only, of course, to give prying eyes vulgo workmates and nosy family members the fluff. Bold as I am I requested membership and was accepted. Unfortunately I was never able to log in. The Open ID did work with my registration, afterwards made off, watching my attempts to get into the site from a safe distance. Probably he had been well acquainted with my temper already. Now comes the kicker, today it finally worked. I logged into my account, went to the other site, chose Open ID, punched in my dates, et voila, in we were. Searching. Reading. Searching again. Outcome: epic fail! Apparently I have chased after the wrong author all these years! That´s for sure, I won´t spend another five years searching for this fic!
