Australian archaeologist Mike Morwood died of cancer yesterday. He was primarly known of his discovery of a species of pre-humans, which he fondly named "Hobbits". It was the adventure of a lifetime for him to discover this brand new species, a rare gift not many archaeologists are given! One thing is for certain: Morwood must have been a fan of Tolkien!
