Jun. 1st, 2021 04:11 pmOh dear, for the next time we will have Cassian with us three days a week. His mama has to do some illustration for a children's book, deadline end of June. Until now she must not have been very productive, that's why hubby will pick the young one up in the morning and bring him back in the afternoon, so that mum will be able to work without getting interrupted all the time. Hubby is ecstatic, me not so. Today was day one of the siege, as I call it. Everything is well so far. Cassian has played, has slept, has eaten. Now grandpa and grandchild are doing another round in the garden, looking for Hannelore. Apparently this time she has really managed to escape. When crawling under the bushes we found the gap she must have used for her escape route, but too late now, she is already up and away, no sign of the turtle this time. I hope she makes it to the little pond a bit farther down. Without water she won't be able to survive!
So if I won't post as often as usual during June, please bear with me. I have not fallen off the face of the planet, I've moved into my new cosy room in the insane asylum instead!
