Last night we had two thunderstorms in a row. Not big ones, but the way thunderstorms usually are- quite loud, but blessedly not for long. Number three was not amused, because Elsa woke from sleep twice- she fears thunder! The fine weather we had yesterday- unexpected, because weatherforecast said we'd have rain- is gone now, and it is raining hard. Family number three left early in the morning, happy to get back home and see, if there was any damage to their water-soaked garden. There was none...
Unfortunately Cassian has passed his germs on me. It started in the evening, when I watched TV, when suddenly my throat was on fire. I kept away from the family in the morning, and after the last guests had left I went back to bed- throat hurt even more, and my nose was running like a water tap. Hubby did some soup for lunch, the only thing I was able to swallow, then brought Cassian to the doctor, because DiL is not yet allowed to enter the doctor's office. Maybe at the end of the week, if we ever get to know it... Yet hubby is livid- how come that she sent us a clearly sick child, who infected me and maybe hubby, and we might have spread our germs over the rest of the family... Definitely not funny! I told him not to rant at home but tell DiL instead!
In the evening I had to move my tired body out of the house, to pick hubby up at the repair shop, where his car will get serviced tomorrow. I am pretty sure he told the mechanics that he would not need his car for another day, since I have fallen sick and he can use mine. That´s hubby- do never stress other people, just stress your wife instead! He prefers my car to his own anyway! But hubby may be right this time- on the way home from the repair shop my ears started to hurt. I now feel with Cassian- the little guy suffers from otitis and is on antibiotics again! At least adults can take proper pain medication! But I feel as if I am slowly falling apart due to old age and too many germs in the house... Enough wailing, tomorrow is another day, and things can only get better!
