Contrary to hubby I ate only half of my pizza the evening before but saved the rest for the Oscar show. As expected, hubby stayed up longer than usual. Quite flabbergasted that the spectacle started at midnight already, I made myself comfortable on the couch. After fighting pain in my hip and cramps in my legs for the first half an hour- I have been spending six hours sitting in the car- I took a pill against the pain and ate the other half of the pizza. The next hour I was miserable- my stomach hurt, so that I was pondering an early trip to the bed. Half an hour later the pain had lessened, but I was extremely tired and still wanted to sleep. At two in the morning I was fit as a fiddle, which lasted until the end, me getting a good look at the torn evening gown of Emma Stone at the end of the show. And I came to the insight that actors and the like are not fond of Donald, which per se is a good thing. At six in the morning I was still fit like a fiddle, at least I had made good progres at reading. I did my daily chores, albeit slowly. Even went down to the dungeon aka cellar to turn the washing machine on. Blessedly son, who got four pizzas for free yesterday evening, gave us a pot of chilli in return, so no cooking had to be done for lunch. While hubby hunted for a new TV set, because we still have the old one, who gives us nightmares in brown and grey even when it´s broadcasting a comedy, I decided that it was about time to collapse on my bed. Only our Amazon deliverer made me leave my place under the duvet. I am pretty sure that tomorrow I will be up and running again, as usual, but not today...
