noadvertising More rain, and nineteen degrees, and this only because some rays of sun showed up at noon. Slowly but surely I am going mad. No one wants to be cooped up inside the house, least of all children. I changed the beddings and put them into the washing machine together with the boys clothing, mostly wet socks from today's venture into the garden, though we had forbidden it. Thrice. Three socks are missing. Maybe the duvet covers ate them. No helpers in the kitchen today. I had to chop the ingredients for the Indian tomato soup myself. Also no help with the baking of naan. The boys are thoroughly fed up with the weather. They're not the only ones...
Hubby is already planning for next week. There's a Titanic exhibition not that far away. Cassian owns three books about that ship. And since temperatures will drop down to 16 degrees for three days we will do the trip. We'll have to preorder the tickets, because there'll be lots of classes spending the last days of the Bavarian school year doing a visit to said exhibition.
Daughter announced her arrival for the evening- I completely forgot about her last early shifts for July. As I said, I am a nervous wreck with two boys in dire need for movement who will turn the house upside down the moment we turn our back on them. At least, I did not have to cook for daughter dearest, she had a lot of broccoli to eat for lunch.
Son called to tell us he'd be at their home around six in the evening instead of four o'clock. We did some practising for school then hubby watched funny reels with the boys, before he packed some of their belongings (mostly toys) into my car and was off. No toys around- today the two rascals had done a big tidying, or the reels would have been cancelled. There's still soup and naan left for hubby, so I went upstairs, fixed the cables on my PC (the place underneath my desk is a well-loved hiding spot, when we play hide and seek) then started to catch up on lost PC time. It was definitely no fun to switch Ashmael on during the week and get two very excited boys sitting on the guestbed, watching what might show up on the screen!
