Today I once again was caught in the crossfire of two of our neighbour´s. Technically I never do anything but live in the neighbourhood of those dimwits, have children who function relatively normally (the operative word is relatively, because no child will be without flaws, but you may help him or her to make the best out of its abilities), and this time I came back from a walk, trying to pass them unnoticed, while those squabblers were about running their respective child next door down, accusing each other to be the worst mother ever-until they saw me. Apparently it´s worse having teenagers characterized as average than children on the brink of criminality or sluggards who live on their parents´ money. Now instead of fighting each other they suddenly fought me. In the beginning I really tried to be polite, kept my mouth shut, you have to believe me, but after a few minutes of listening to both their rants now suddenly concerning my spawn I had enough, told them what I thought about their respective brood and went home. I think I won´t hear from those two lunatics for a long time!
