noadvertising ...going out of the house today. I watched hubby leave four times- that man constantly ignores the high prices for fuel. Well, he can afford them, but it's still annoying. I for one decided to ride the cold out. Three degrees and a lot of my warm clothing already packed up for next wintery season is a bad combination. Then again, there was a lot of housework to do considering the amount of people that will swarm our house from Wednesday on. Hubby had already mopped the floor in the guestroom and number four's old room, I did the dusting (and decluttering, because the bin felt so empty). Then I put fresh bedding on the guestbeds and fresh one in the under bed drawer of the sofa in the living room. I am very tempted to buy a chair bed for the conservatory, to not have to convert the sofa in the living room each day family number three is here for a visit and number four, too, at the same time. Worst case scenario, because the upper bedroom is occupied then and number four does not get along well with loud children...
Daughter came after lunch and managed to get what hubby has been hunting for days (and never succeeded): fenugreek seed I need for cooking. No, I did not need half a kilo delivered by Amazon- this might attract food moths. Neither did I intend to order from an organic grocery store, 50 gramme at the price of half a kilo at Amazon. No fennugreek in all the stores around, but daughter went to the Chinese shop, bought a sachet, and both hubby and I were happy. Daughter ate what was left of todays's ramen, which was a lot, while we watched an animal film. Afterwards we had mulled tea- the hell we'd have cold drinks, it's definitely too cool in the house- and that was practically my day. Not sure if I will watch prime time programme- all I want is sleep, but sleep will be cut short again!
