The end is near...

Only one and a half week left until summer break! Nine long weeks sans teaching, crazed students, niffy classrooms...and no summer weather outside. Currently it´s eleven degrees, it´s pouring, and apparently it will stay like this for another week. Half of the family is coughing their lungs out, the other half has the sniffles from Mordor. I want to have back the good old summer days of my youth! Right away, not when I´m in retirement! I daresay I won´t go to Ireland or Scotland this year but choose a vacation spot in the deep south. Can´t stand the cold anymore!
