(no subject)

So daughter mine has been asleep all afternoon. That I understand, the weather is showery, she´s fed up with getting up at six in the morning, tomorrow is report day, and then many of her friends will transfer to different schools. In autumn Ellie will start  as a freshmen in a High school with emphasis on science. She´s already missing her best friend, who´s returned to India one month ago. Now her schoolmate for eight  years will take leave, too. So daughter mine finally decided it was about time to go shopping for sweets, to have a farewell present for him. At seven pm. I should add that in this part of Europe shops close at seven, only a few keep their shop open until eight pm. Needless to say we barely made it. Now she´s wrapping up the presents in her room, playing her favourite music high-volume. I´d say she is clearly awake now, while the rest of the family is preparing for bed. Bleak prospects for the hols, she might have grown to like this schedule!
