Jul. 16th, 2013 10:36 pmThis is what happens when you don´t follow your own instructions: For decades I told my progeny to not walk the lawn without footwear. Today I was in a rush, dental appointment, a drive to the postal office, no homecoming before afternoon, so I took my watering can to water my plants, all of them, before they bit the dust. Sans my Crocs. Bad idea! There are bees hidden among the grass blades for real, searching for the few flowers blooming underneath. And yes, bee stings hurt like hell. Can´t even put weight onto my foot anymore. It´s not that swollen, but bee must have delivered a strategic sting into a lymph channel. A valiant deed, its last fortunately. I´ll get to bed now, maybe propping up the leg will help with the pain. Darned bees, never again will I save one of you from my cats!
