Good bye to the tent
Apr. 20th, 2014 08:24 pmFarewell, my beautiful mustard cardigan, faithful companion of many winters! Cold outside and, on top of that, snowing? Slip on a sweater and -the tent. At least until yesterday, when it was due to be stored until next winter, of course after a proper process of washing. Only that the tent was meant to be bathed in lukewarm water, delicate cycle only. Unfortunately I was a bit distracted and put the tent into a 60 degree washing programme. What I have now is a felted woollen jacket, children´s size. Since my daughter is already taller than me, she who´d loved the tent to bits, wrapping herself up in it´s woollen softness (twice) when running around in a snowstorm, I´ll have to sacrifice my beloved companion to the god of rubbish, because mustard is absolutely no colour for children. Fare thee well!
