Apparently humans aren´t the only ones who need a bit of fun! Since summer returned all of a sudden, hubby activated the newly bought pool robot, because it´s way more comfortable to sit and watch the machine clean the water than doing the cleaning by yourself. After some time even hubby found it boring to watch the robot and went back into the house, to do something less stressing. Everything went smoothly- at first. But after half an hour I heard the telltale sounds of the counter-current system of the pool and went out to chase off the fool who was ready to swim next to an electric gadget. What I found was our pool robot swimming on the water surface, happily flapping the cute black lamellae of its rollers, at the farthest end of the pool, and no suicidal swimmer in sight. "You!", I sternly told the robot, "will immediately continue your work!", turned the counter-current system off, put the robot in the middle of the pool and resumed my housework. It did not take long for the counter-current to start running again, with the robot happily flapping instead of cleaning. I started all over again, turning off the system, pulling forth the little blue slacker, but stayed outside this time and watched what would happen next. It did not take long, and the robot began to climb the sidewall of the swimming pool, this way clambering over the switch and activating the system, and off went my robot in a wave of water, to the other end of the pool, where it landed on the water surface, of course, happily flapping. The counter flow was too strong to let the robot dive back to the bottom of the pool to continue its work. I went in search of hubby who finally changed the cleaning program. From now on robot will be condemned to bottom cleaning only, no way I´ll have Robby merrily splashing around in the pool!
