Dear Glorfindel

This morning hubby greeted me enthusiastically at the ktchen table. "I guess you have slept well after all that shovelling. Yet I´d like to know why you blew a raspberry that often!" Wait a moment. Blow a raspberry? Shovelling? Ah yes, Mr. Glorfindel had been back for a visit last night. That elf won´t stay away for long. Maybe I should write a book about his visits during night. This night he was gravelling the area in front of his new house which was, what a coincidence, next to mine, Glorfindel for once shirtless but still wearing baby blue sweatpants and still very young. He was kind of complaining about him being gay after rebirth and that this was Namo´s fault to some degree, but Namo, armed with a shovel, too, only rolled his eyes, blowing raspberries at his lover when Glorfindel did not look. Damn, that Vala was a good-looking guy, and I remember I had sat on my spacious terrace watching the two shirtless male wonders shovelling, drooling at this enticing sight. But me imitating shovelling and blowing a raspberry while I technically was asleep? No way! Then I remembered the one time when I shared a room with my daughter and she woke me, grinning like mad because I had dreamed I was hiking, with my feet pedalling under the duvet and my hands steering the bicycle while I was loudly imitating a bike bell. Or the one dream I attacked my husband while dreaming because I thought he was a Vovinian High seeker who hated females. That face of my husband was priceless, after I had punched him and whacked him with my pillow! Maybe I should see a psychiatrist to get rid of my extremely vivid way of dreaming? Then again some parts of the last dream have a connection to reality, the neighbours next to our house have been gravelling the area in front of their abode, and they are a happily married gay couple. Problem is that not one of them is as pretty as my elf! I certainly would not spend my time watching them work shirtless! I really do not know why this darn elf keeps coming back all the time. I swear I haven´t read anything Tolkien related for quite a time. Maybe he wants to remind me to brush the dust off my Tolkien collection and give the books another try?
