And it's back again
Apr. 8th, 2026 07:29 pm The glitch I've talked about has returned. Re-starting my mobile has worked for less than a week. Today I did an update then decided to go to LJ, and noticed that the site loaded twice. I do not know how many LJ entries got lost in the WWW by this. You write one, put it aside, go back to it, the site loads again, and off your entry is. No more existent. Absolutely no fun! This time not even re-starting did work. I am so bummed!
In the morning I stopped at the pot with today's main meal and noticed that there was considerably less of Anne's beef in the pot than when I had finished cooking. Okay, the boys had tasted (and loved it). But hubby must have gotten hungry in the evening, and dinner is dinner- I had not told him the day he was to eat the beef. Which was why I had to cook again, because today the boys were to stay overnight and daughter would be here, too. I defrosted minced beef, seasoned it for wonton lasagne, opened the freezer- and found that I had not bought wonton pastry but wontons. Had to send hubby to the grocery shop to buy puff pastry. Wonton strudel it was then. Not as good as when done with the right pastry, but still acceptable.
The most annoying thing today was that the new owner of a nearby property felled all thuja on our street, which is not allowed between April and October. Haven't we all been told there was not even a submission of a building plan? And now this, during the breeding time of the local birdlife!
The boys were pretty easy to supervise- Cassian did one and a half metre of finger-knitting, which took some time. Flavius helped me with tidying the studio, then both went into the garden and helped hubby with lawn mowing. For dinner Anne's beef got munched (will definitely show up on the cooking plan more often), daughter had to be content with a very small bowl but still had wonton puff pastry. At seven the boys, daughter and I were knackered. I went upstairs to tuck the youngsters in, turned my mobile on while they watched a short video clip of their choice (Lego meals) and wrote today's LJ entry, not daring to leave the site before finishing. More research will get done tomorrow, I so need to get rid of the glitch!
