tiredI am halfway through the Witcher series now. I had to switch from English to German during the first episode, because it was hard for me to follow the dialogues. Then I realized that either the audio quality is quite bad or I am going deaf. As I have no problems when following the regular TV program I think it´s the former. A real shame, because I like the series, even though the f... word is in use too often to my liking.
Number one got his first Covid vaccination today, so chance is that he will stay at home from work tomorrow. Good for hubby, because tomorrow I am due for my first prick and will not be able to help him with Xaver in the morning. Since I had to pick up my medical certificate for the vaccination I had to do a Covid test first to be allowed to get out of town then drive 20 kilometers to my family doctor. I had barely arrived home when the doctor´s reciptionist phoned, to tell me that she had forgotten to give back my health insurance card, the one I will need tomorrow. No card, no vaccination, so back to the doctor it was. At least the officer who had checked my Covid test in the afternoon wished me a nice evening and waved me through.
Last night a man shot his former lover and her mother in the community where I have been working for a long time. The week before another woman got murdered by her ex-husband. I think we are up to twelve murdered women this year, numbers growing rapidly. Something is seriously wrong with our men. Being confined indoors in the evening does no good to the male ego!
