I have a car. Hubby has a car, too. Now mine is a tad bigger, so it is clear that hubby will use it when transporting bigger things, which is the case every so often. Son has a job during summer break, six days a week. He can have my car in case it rains. He is to take husband´s car when I need to do a trip, or hubby needs my car. Company is not far away, but walking along the main street during rainfall implies that you will arrive soaking wet, not from above but mostly from the bottom. Cars here won´t decelerate because of a single pedestrian who is bold enough to walk along a street full of potholes pooling rainwater.
It has not rained for two days now. Yesterday I told hubby that I had to cross the border to Germany for another shopping trip, mostly cosmetics and bedding, mostly for daughter´s semester abroad. I won´t support our economy by buying things that are half the price 20 kilometres away. That´s profiteering, and they know it. No wonder that our politicians did not have any problems with borders closed! Anyway, I got up, looked out of the window and my car was not in its parking spot. Hubby had forgotten to tell son that I needed to drive. That earned him a nice stroll to the company, to bring my car back.
As a reward I bought lunch from the cute Thai restaurant. I mean the cook is cute. It´s so much fun to watch her do the meals! And meal is always spicy, which is very good. All of us like spicy, the more, the better. But not as hot as the Thai curry we had ordered once. That one must have come directly from hell.
Namo cat is a bit better. He is old, he is a walking thyreoidal and pancreatic disaster, and he loves to pee over the rim of the litter box. Hubby wants him gone every so often, me and the children not. I wonder what will happen when number four and five are off for university- two defenders less! As long as we have paper towels enough it´s not a problem, at least for me!
From tomorrow on we will have Cassian four days in a row, with no aunt Lil in the house, because she has same working hours as DiL. I will have to show him the huge box with old cars instead that appeared out of the blue, when hubby reorganized the content of our very wet cellar! I so knew that there had to be more toys down there, toys that had been stored in places I would not dare to visit, like those with the big bad black spiders looming around!
