Shopping

I thought I´d better do a shopping tour today. Tomorrow son will be off to work with hubby´s car (blessedly he has not sold it yet), and hubby will be off to Upper Austria with my car together with family of son number two, who is about to buy a new car. Saturday the shops will be overrun by people who have been lockdowned for too long and have not been able to do Christmas shopping until now, and I do not want to walk among those masses! I did not get all I wanted, but at least I was able to cross the border to Germany and get a present for my friend´s birthday. And just when I thought I´d better buy a gift bag I got bestowed a very kitschy yet also very nice Christmas mug I will use for packaging! I also got a second mug, but this one is for my three morning coffees! I still have to get a gift certificate for DiL number two from a German shop which has wondrous art materials (she´s a painter). Means that I will have to go back to Germany on Monday. Monday will also be the day when daughter will be back home, yoo-hoo, though in the late evening only. I have already done a trip to the drugstore for nosedrops and coughing syrup. I hope it´s not too bad with her, she has her booster shot on Tuesday! Too bad if she could not have it, because I see lots of visits of her friends ahead!
