Rather short post again...

Hubby has bought a new vacuum cleaner and needs to lay a new cable for the charging station. Since then our internet is wobbly at best. All that drilling seems to unfasten the plug, and off it is. I think I have been climbing up the step ladder at least thrice, to reconnect. Cassian, who is with us today and tomorrow, was livid when he was not able to watch a single video without interruption, and he usually is very calm child. Today he is not, might be because he had some banter with his older cousins. Here the grandchildren often come in flocks, and I did not have the heart to put son number one´s family off. They haven´t been able to visit us until now because of that darn virus Xaver caught in kindergarten, and there still were some presents for the young ones under the Christmas tree their uncle had brought. We will be off during day tomorrow if the weather is fine. Sister´s visit has been postponed until Friday. For sledding we will have to do a one hour drive, to find a hill with enough snow. I cannot remember to ever have experienced such a long period with temperatures this high in winter. At New Year´s Eve I did not even put on my coat, so warm it was! Temperatures are going down for some days, but it will stay too warm for snow. No fun, because I am pretty sure that we will get our snow in March and April- again. Now I am down with hubby, to take care of our grandson, who is indeed cooking Palatschinken in the new children´s kitchen. Cassian loves Palatschinken. Aunt Lil has promised to do some for breakfast, together with bacon and caramelised bananas, and maple syrup, of course!
