Night of the flying watering cans

Yesterday, when I had just posted my daily entry (do not worry, as soon as the plague will be off come spring, I will take a break from bugging you daily) a storm came on with such a force that literally everything that had not been stored away safely came flying across the garden. No one had warned us that another one was on the way- must be because it was not supposed to hit in the East, and that´s where all our informations come from. I hate storms since the day hubby found me during a veritable snow storm on our terrace, trying to withstand the powers that tried to blow down our brandnew trellis. Husband mine had built it a few days ago, but, as always, had not quite finished the work. Supports were still missing, so the only way to keep that thing from crashing down was my body. Not nice, when it´s super cold and you can´t see a thing because of all that snow! Yesterday the storm made the truss creak and tremor, and that sound went on all night long. In the morning all our watering cans were located at the neighbour´s property. What was worse was that all covers of the motion detectors had been yanked off. Hubby was able to reattach two out of three. The third will have to go into the bin... But no snow came, though the western part of the country got loads of it, and even the East has seen snow flakes.
Family number three will come one week later. Elsa has brought more germs from kindergarten, and since the little ones do not do their Covid tests the way they should, no one knows if there are some who spread the plague in the family. DiL will do a test tomorrow, then we will know more...
Daughter wanted noodles with selfmade pesto for lunch, and I wanted to use up the cheese which is supposed to go into the oven for a topping. Please note- never put such sort of cheese in the microwave. That thing found a way out of the bowl and spread all over the turntable and beyond...
