It´s Oscar night tonight, and, as usual, hubby will stay up later than usual this day, I will fall asleep on the sofa in front of our TV at half past eleven, daughter will wake me and turn on the TV, then the two of us will have a lot of fun- at least I hope so, last year was like watching paint dry. We will do lots of  gossipping about evening gowns, we will have pizza, and at some point we will fall asleep, before the awards in the main categories will be assigned. No problem, we will hear or see about it in the news. Problem is that with the switch to daylight saving time last night, our body clock might be a bit off balance. Hubby might stay up even longer, I might have less time to get at least a bit of sleep, and Tuesday daughter and I will crash. It´s always two days after the big event that we will fall asleep while standing, and this year it might be even worse.
Today I got up at 8:30, because I needed a bit more sleep after idiot neighbour had managed to get son and daughter-in-law into the garden for work at 6:30 which would have been 5:30 the day before. It was still quite dark outside, but the three were able to wake the whole neighbourhood, mostly by shouting at each other. Only when one of the neighbours threatened to call the police (no loud activities allowed outside before 10) they went into the house and never came back out again. It was another Sunday special we got to hear, and we get way too many! And I finally managed to take a foto of neighbour´s fabulous sun shield, which has to be 40 centimetres long. I thought he´d wear it because of medical reasons, until I found him reading in the sun on a sun bed. He did no even wear sun glasses! At least he found a shirt to wear today!
