Lucky me, again!

All went well during night. Cassian went upstairs a tad late (but his parents won´t get to know), we watched a Playmobil video in my bed (he loves Playmobil but is not allowed to have some) then I shooed him into his own bed and turned the lights off- it was pitchdark in the room, as always, but I did not bother with closing the window this time. We had five minutes of "Guess which car is driving on the street just now", and out he was. The only problem was to get the little one back into his bed, when I was ready for sleep two hours later. Hubby is deadly afraid that his grandson might fall out of the bed during night, so he puts my work chair in front of it. Somehow the little one found a way to squeeze his head between seating surface and backrest. It took me some time to get it back out, and I got scolded a lot when pulling Cassian back onto the bed. Yet he fell asleep again, when his head hit the pillow. He woke us at seven with loud singing. His father will be envious when hearing this, at home he gets up about five in the morning! Now he's back home, and I went back to knitting, at least I tried! I have nicked my first finger when cutting vegetables. A tiny cut, unfortunately at exactly the place I use for pushing back the knitting needle, to get to the stitches more easily. Ouch, that hurts! I will have to put a band aid on the cut, or it will start to bleed again! Did not even remember how pointed those thin needles are! The sweater does not work out the way I want. I have bought new yarn, blue grey, quite dark, but exactly the colour matching Elsa's eyes- only that I now have to use rather thin needles (2,5 mm) for this yarn. This will be a very long project, and I am not known for patience. Let's see how this will turn out!
It was a nice day with yellow-grey sky and no winds, though it was quite cool already. I did a bit of planting, removed plants that had died during the last cold wave, watered the palm trees... Bad weather will be late one day. If I had my way, it could stay where it is right now!
