Cross your fingers, please!
It was so not my day until two hours ago! I woke early to a grey sky and the sound of rain. I know very well that we need rain, lots of it, but I cannot cope with dark rainy days, always makes me depressed. After breakfast I finally found the sweater Elsa had forgotten the last time she was here- and noticed that it was wider than the sweater I had begun to knit. So- unravelling it was, all of it. Quite a few hours of knitting lost because I somehow messed up the tension sample! I did the first part of the waistband again, this time with twelve more stitches then decided to do some Youtubing, before I attacked the task of the darn rounding. Success! I now knit while following a Russian manual. Not that I speak Russian, but the translator is on and it´s not that hard to see what the knitting lady wants to tell us.
Tomorrow we might have snow again, and temperatures are said to go down to minus four during night. I fervently hope this won´t happen. I love my spring flowers, and my magnolias are just opening their buds, as is the japanese flowering cherry. I want pink instead of white in the garden!
