Still sneezing, still coughing, but we are better today, besides, daughter does splendid tea thrice a day. We did a bit of jigsawing and watched Vaire cat crawl across the living room. I thought she´d found some prey she´d hunt - usually spiders or wasps. While she can have the spiders I won´t risk her getting stung by a wasp, so I ran after the cat. Cat was not hunting, cat was panicking. I had not heard the chimney sweeper arrive, otherwise I´d have her locked up in the bathroom. This cat is deadly afraid of the sound of the broom cleaning the chimney, which is funny to look at but definitely not funny for the poor cat! Daughter tried to hold her, but she was all claws at that moment. Daughter wrapped cat in a blanket and brought her to the guestroom. It took a long time to get her out from under the sofa...
I did a lot of knitting today. Elsa´s summer sweater could have been finished by now- only that at the last moment two problems appeared. The first one was easy to solve, though I had to sacrifice a few metres of the yarn- the second ball of yarn is balled the other way round concerning the colours, which does not look good. But I never did knit a jumper top-down and have problems with the picking up of stitches under the armhole. I think I will have to watch Youtube instructions to research into that problem!
