Situation getting worse

At the moment we have one car. Hubby´s car is still in the repair shop- at least it´s still worth repairing. He was told that he could pick it up on Wednesday. Just now!!! they found that some spare parts are not available at the moment. That´s a worst case scenario! We are to have Cassian thrice this week, which is bad enough. But today dearest husband mine has agreed to step in for his sick colleague in orchestra for the whole week- those woodwind players have to be an extremely susceptible lot, being sick so often! Of course this has happened, before repair shop told him that his car was not ready for getting picked up on Wednesday- hubby will need my car all week long, means that I am stuck at home for the rest of the week. All he can do is pick up Cassian in the morning, bring him to our house then leave and come back late in the evening. It´s my turn to chase after the youngster, doing housework and cooking when he is asleep then chase after him again. I am livid. I hope that hubby at least will fill up our fridge, before he leaves for work, because at the moment there´s a big void in it. Daughter is livid, too, because she needs a lift to the airport for the rest of the week. Forget about public transport in the early hours! I fear that this week will hold a lot of oops-moments for me!
Another huge spider made it into our house this day and left via organic waste bin. Must have come in with the drying rack hubby dragged into the living room, after a sudden storm had sent it flying from terrace to lawn. Weather today has been strange- stormy, clouded, yet very warm. Just now we had an impressive thunderstorm, and there´s more to come during night. As long as we have no thunderstorm, when Cassian is supposed to stay overnight, I don´t care. But I definitely do not want a howling toddler in my sleeping room, who refuses to stay in his own bed because of those big loud donuts outside!
