Another lazy day

Got up at three, went back to bed at four, fell asleep at six, got up at eight. I had a first swim before breakfast, which was delightable and refreshing. Later I fertilised vegetables and palm trees, even brought out the citrous fertiliser. In the meantime hubby brought the inflatable baby pool to DiL, blew it up and filled it with water. Cassian was so delighted at having a pool of his own that he jumped into the water with his clothes on. Will not have taken long for them to dry, because it was 35 degrees today, just the way I love it. Hot and dry, not warm and humid- but that´s what we will get from tomorrow on in the western part of the country. Not much cooking today except frying a chicken breast, we still had leftovers in the fridge. Now that the rainwater tank got filled up again (a groundwater well is handy these days) I will do the daily evening round in the garden, to water the tomatoes and pumpkins. One pumpkin plant is about to die (the Hokkaido one), because neighbour cats have established a cat loo in the big pot and practically snapped all of the leaves. After watering it will up to the bedroom, because there´s another three o´clock alarm call waiting for me this night!
