Jul. 19th, 2022 03:47 pmReal summer is here, it's 32 degrees, and I love it! Some call it hot, I do not. Besides, heat wave will be over soon in our part of the country. It could stay longer, alas,thunderstorms will put an end to the lovely summer weather and bring back humidity. If it was up to me, it could stay hot and dry for some more days...
What I thought a free day with hubby off to Munich turned out to be a stressful one. First a friend invited me for a visit to a nice coffee shop. Only that after having coffee she came to our house. How fortunate that she had a bathing suit with her and spent the afternoon in the pool and on the terrace with me, so that I would not feel so lonely. Hah, me and lonely! At four daughter phoned to tell me she'd be home in less than an hour. What? Turned out that I somewhat mussed up the dates for her early shift. Okay, no free afternoon, no free evening, but an early wake call. I will survive, but chances are that such a constellation with no one at home except me won't show up again in the near future..
