What do I want for Christmas?

 Number four and five called me practically at the same time, when I was occupied with hiding the bags with the presents son number one had just brought. Bad timimg indeed- Cassian was out on the street with his balance bike (and hubby) and hurrying back home, when he saw his uncle´s car, in hope that Xaver and Oscar would be in there. No such luck, number one had carefully chosen the slot between end of his workday and his sons returning home fom school and kindergarten. Oscar has been sneaking around in search of the presents for the last weeks with his brother in tow. I managed to put away the bags but overheard my phone, so both number four and five phoned hubby and asked him what they should gift me for Christmas, and hubby told both I´d like a huge mug for my daily double Americano in the morning- a wise suggestion, because we have three big mugs only, which are monopolised by family number three the moment they enter our house, and I am in dire need of my coffee when they are here. Now I wonder who of my offspring will bring the bigger mug...
I had to hide the key to the guestroom, Cassian is on a rampage in search for the door to the Weihnachtswichtel´s home, since I told him one more story of the tiny gnomes. He also wants to sleep in the living room, so that he´s able to watch the gnome eat his cookie and drink his milk. Oh dear, I wonder if he will try to get up during night and get down to the dining table...
I did three sorts of cookies this morning, and my husband deems me mad. Never before we had so many cookies in the house, and they taste good, I swear! Not much else got done today, when you have a young grandson in the house you mostly have to chase after him or play or read to him. But hubby put up the fir tree together with Cassian, and I love its smell! Tomorrow, when grandson is off to kindergarten, we will decorate it. It´s a fairly big tree, so we will need a lot of baubles...
