They work, they truly work!
Feb. 23rd, 2023 06:41 pm Yesterday I took the allergy pills in the evening, before we feasted on fish. I took them today, too, because there still was fish to feast on- and both times I only had a queasy stomach and felt a bit bloated. No redness in face, neck and chest. No problems with breathing. The fish stayed where it was supposed to stay- now if only those pills were cheaper! For the next weeks it´s no fish at all for me, I won´t push my luck- and my purse, neither!
Weather was way cooler today with no sunshine at all. Yet I decided to continue gardening, because we might have snow from tomorrow on, and they say that this will be only a foretaste of what is to come in March. Apparently we might get the winter we had wanted, well, in winter. This might also indicate that we will have another year with next to no fruits. The buds on the fruit trees are already very prominent, those on magnolias and hydrangeas, too. I will buy a cheap raised bed for cultivation of tomatoes and chillis. Aldi sells one next weekend, I only will have to get up early to get one. I think I will place it into the conservatory first. Not that I will be as late as last year, when I got dozens of plants- in June. When they were big enough to bear fruits, it had been almost autumn!
Daughter will bring the sweater her washing machine tried to eat on Sunday, to let me work on it. I did view a lot of videos on Youtube, but I am not sure if I will be able to mend it. I´m not even sure if the wool we bought for mending is of the same colour! But it´s worth a try, I´d say, even if the colour does not match exactly. Besides, there´s a shop selling wool near daughters apartment, where she could try her luck with finding the exact match!
Today hubby is off to a concert, and I can finally skip the daily crime story on TV. Now I only have to look for a more promising programme...
